Laura started teaching private lessons for our beginners and middle school flutes this semester, and they are already making such wonderful progress and earning spots in our district honor band. She is meticulous about tone production and technique, and she’s excellent at working with students at all ages and ability levels. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Laura’s communication is fantastic. She keeps both parents and band directors completely in the loop about student progress and goals, and she’s always super quick to respond to questions – including scheduling, pricing, and curriculum. She works with students in our district from 6th grade (beginner level) all the way up through high school. I love that she is always pushing our kiddos to do their best, and knows how to make them feel good about where they are at 🙂
Under her guidance, our students aren’t just learning their instrument—they’re truly excelling, picking up skills that put them way ahead of their classmates in their current band classes. She has even helped our students place in local honor bands!
Laura cares deeply about her students – I absolutely recommend reaching out to her as a private flute teacher.

I found Laura two years ago when I was ready to pick up my flute again after a 15-year break. She helped me return to my previous level of playing within several months, and I have enjoyed continuing my flute journey with her. She works with my schedule, is very professional and kind, and always seems to find innovative ways to push my playing and skills farther than I thought possible. Laura has worked with me to develop a plan to achieve my goals with the limitations I experience as a working parent. She has taught me how to practice efficiently and meets me where I am at each lesson. I appreciate her so much, and would recommend her to both beginners and adults looking for a return to the joy of playing the flute!
